At Witchington Gardens, young witches can e.g. fly around on their broomsticks, familiars race with each other on their little brooms, they can brew their own concoctions in the big couldron, there is a greenhouse, where they can learn about plants and herbs, they can go down to the lake for a swim or use the boat, they can lie down and read, tent, visit one of the many treehouses and walk on rope bridges high up in the trees, and there are many more activities. Of course there are many magical creatures living at Camp Witchington and in the forests you can meet, for example the little Folks living in trees, hedges and mushrooms.
Here you find Witchington Gardens products:
It’s the time of the year again. Camp Witchington is open and all the little witches travel there for their vacation. They travel with their familiars; by hot-air ballon, brooms and pigeons. Finally, when
all little witches have arrived, they all gather around the big bubbling cauldron on the glade. So many adventures await them. So much fun is to be had.

Busy Birdel lives in Fable Gardens. He just bought the newest issue of the Daily Dodo. His new hoof sandals help him run even faster, so he is the first at the willow down by the creek and can snatch his favourite reading spot. There is a rock, against which he props whatever he reads and he lies down in the cool shade of the big tree.
You can find Busy Birdel here:
This his Sabertooth Birdiebunnyboo. He counts dragons, emus, sabertoothbunnies and the Dodo to his ancestors. He cannot fly because of his little Dodo bird wings, but he doesn’t mind . He travels through Fable Gardens in his favourite boots. A sighting, even if you only catch a glimpse of him in the corner of your eye, will bring you luck.

Until a couple of days ago, I had never heard about the colour shade “Hooker’s Green”. I was researching for veganartstuff.info and stumbled across this name on https://www.qorcolors.com/products/watercolors .
I got curious where the name originated from and it wasn’t the profession, but the English illustrator W. Hooker, it was named after posthumously in the mid-1800s.
The first thing that came to my mind after reading the name was however the film “Irma La Douce” starring Shirley MacLaine and Jack Lemon. In the film, Irma La Douce is a harlot, who dresses herself in green. She and her little white dog wear green bows, she wears green lingerie, garter belt, stockings,…
Now I wonder whether the character was purposely dressed in green because of “Hooker’s Green”, or whether it was a mere coincidence. It must have been on purpose. It is too nice a detail to not have been placed intentionally.
The Qor Watercolor shade “Hooker’s Green” is vegan-friendly (in case you are in need of a vegan-not harlot- but illustrator Hooker-green) and you can find more about it here : https://www.veganartstuff.info/2018/04/05/qor-watercolors-except-bone-black/ .
